Lunch and Dinner Range: Deliveries for our meals occur Monday to Thursday, with a two-day processing window for order fulfillment.

Gourmet Fresh Meals: Our meal order cutoff time is Sunday at 12 PM for shipping on Wednesday.

Perishable Delivery: We use overnight delivery for perishable items, so your box will arrive within 24 hours of being shipped.

No Weekend or Public Holiday Shipments: We do not ship on weekends or public holidays.

Rural Deliveries: We do not recommend shipping to rural addresses due to the instability of the rural delivery network, and we cannot guarantee rural deliveries.

The choice is yours. We take every necessary precaution to ensure your meal arrives in optimal condition. This includes gas flushing and pressure sealing before shipping. We also snap-freeze all our meals to a core temperature of zero degrees. This helps maintain a transit temperature below 5 degrees, which is the same temperature you would expect in your fridge.

Once the meals arrive, you can either place them in the fridge and consume them within one week, or store them in the freezer and remove them as needed.

Our packaging is meticulously crafted to preserve the freshness of your meals for up to 48 hours. However, it's crucial to avoid exposing the packages to the elements, as this may compromise the effectiveness of the insulation.

When your meals depart our kitchen, they are in a flash-frozen state. Upon arrival, they should still be mostly frozen and can be conveniently stored in the freezer. In the event of a slight delay of 30+ hours resulting in thawing, placing the meals in the fridge allows them to stay fresh for up to seven days.

Should your meals arrive more than 48 hours later and are unfrozen, we advise against consumption. Instead, please reach out to us immediately to log the issue. Your satisfaction is our priority, and we're here to ensure your meals arrive as fresh as the moment they leave our kitchen.

We care deeply about the environment and have taken steps to minimize our environmental footprint:
- Meal Trays: Our trays are made of 80% recycled content and are recyclable.
- Cardboard Boxes: Flatten and recycle your cardboard boxes.
- Gel Packs: Reuse them or dispose of the non-toxic gel in your garden and recycle the plastic bag.

We use a market-leading solution provided by Planit Protector, which is also employed by the majority of NZ meal providers. This packaging solution boasts an impressive number of successfully shipped boxes per week, close to 250,000. We combine this with a perishable courier service provided by NZ Couriers, along with some clever packing from our team, to create an extremely reliable shipping solution. This allows us to deliver meals to any urban location within 48 hours in the worst-case scenario, with most boxes being delivered within 24 hours.

What We Guarantee:
We will issue refunds or replacements at our discretion for lost-in-transit boxes, damaged meals or boxes, and transit delays exceeding 48 hours. However, we do not cover theft from your doorstep or Rural Deliveries

Please note that Fresh Food is a perishable item, and as such, it is non-returnable for any reason. In the event that a meal is damaged, we may request that you return it for testing purposes and proper disposal.
